All the Kiowas were a tribe belonging to the Tanoan linguistic family, the following peoples of the North, as San Ildefonso and Santa Clara, which has developed an important trade operation. According to ancient tradition, the Kiowas lived in the area of the sources of the Missouri, but then moved to the region, the Black Hills, where he was thrown for Lacotas in the XVIII century. In the end, they settled on the banks of the Arkansas river, where he signed a peace Treaty with the Comanches. In 1790, he believed, with a population of two thousand individuals, but in 1970, that number had doubled. Was given to the Kiowa reservation in southwestern Oklahoma in 1868, where he is currently living with the Comanches and Kiowas – Apache tribe is a small combined with the Kiowa since time immemorial.
